Tiberius, 14-37. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.70 g, 12 h), Lugdunum, group 1, circa 15-18. TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AVGVSTVS Laureate head of Tiberius to right. Rev. PONTIF MAXIM Livia (as Pax) seated right on a chair with plain legs, holding long scepter in her right hand and olive branch in her left. BMC 34. Cohen 16. Giard 144. RIC 26. Beautifully toned and with a very attractive early portrait. A few very light marks, otherwise, good very fine.
